Program Description:
International Welcome Ambassadors Program
The International Welcome Ambassadors Program brings together international and domestic students to share their culture and develop friendships. International Welcome Ambassadors (IWAs) are current Cal Poly students who have volunteered their time to get to know and help our new international students with arrival. IWAs are assigned a small group of new incoming international students that they keep in contact with to assist with pre-departure questions. Once their international student contacts arrive, an IWA will welcome their students to San Luis Obispo, help them settle in, and get them connected with the Cal Poly community.
